Does Prayer Really Work?
A well known hymn asks "What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms .....?" So just what do we have to fear?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3: 5&6
We can claim God's promises at all times... Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him! …How gracious He will be when you cry for help! As soon as He hears, He will answer you. Isaiah 30:18-19 (NIV)

Guidance in selection of a new pastor for NHF-
That our leaders in Congress will recognize who
they answer to and seek God's wisdom-
Our military personnel & families around the world-
Those who have lost jobs seeking employment-
The nations hit hard by earth quakes as they seek to recover and grieve for their loved ones lost-
Broken family relationships, healing marriages
Loved ones who don't know Christ-
Our missionaries around the world-
Those struggling to live victorious Christian lives-
Unless the Lord build the house - they labour in vain that build it. Psalm 127:1
People pay large sums of money for advice which sometimes
brings no help. God offers us instant help through prayer - He is just a prayer away!
